What If?
**First Conditional** — real/future possibility. Formula: **If + present simple, will + base verb** *If it rains, I will stay home.* In Arabic, this matches **إذا + فعل مضارع + سـ + فعل**: *إذا درست، ستنجح* → *If you study, you will succeed.*
**Second Conditional** — unreal/hypothetical situation. Formula: **If + past simple, would + base verb** *If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.* In Arabic, this matches **لو + فعل ماضٍ + لـ + فعل**: *لو كان لدي مال، لسافرت* → *If I had money, I would travel.*
**Side by side:** - *If it rains, I will stay home.* (real → First Conditional) - *If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.* (unreal → Second Conditional) Notice: First = possible future. Second = imaginary now/ future.
